"The War Comes Home."

For our brothers and sisters in uniform, the battles don't always end overseas. But we're finding a way to win. One dog at a time.

The Problem We're Facing

When we leave the service, we leave a lot behind: the team, the mission, the constant purpose. For many of us, that's when the real fight begins—against things you can't see, like PTSD, anxiety, and the feeling of being alone. We've seen it firsthand. We know how it feels. It’s the constant hyper-vigilance, the nights of no sleep, the feeling of being a stranger in your own home. The invisible wounds are often the deepest.

But there’s a solution that’s been proven to help.

We believe that a trained, loyal battle buddy is the key to winning that fight. They're more than just a dog; they're an anchor. They're a reason to get up in the morning. They're a team, a mission, a lifeline.

Our mission is to give our heroes a new path forward—and a partner to walk it with them.

Behind the Mission

See the life-changing work in action. From rescue to graduation, every step is a testament to the bond we build.

Be Part of the Solution

Your donation is a direct call to action. There is a long waitlist of deserving veterans. Every dollar you give goes straight to training, feeding, and caring for a dog until it's ready to be placed.

We're not asking for a lot, just what you can give. We make sure every dollar stretches as far as it can. With your support, we can save lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most common questions we get. If you don't see your question answered here, feel free to contact us directly.

What kind of dogs do you use?

We primarily work with rescued dogs from local shelters. We believe that every dog deserves a second chance, just like the veterans they will serve. Our trainers conduct thorough evaluations to ensure each dog has the right temperament and potential to become a service animal.

How long does the training process take?

The training process is comprehensive and can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months, depending on the individual dog and the specific needs of the veteran. Our training focuses on both basic obedience and specialized tasks tailored to help manage PTSD and TBI.

How do veterans apply for a service dog?

Veterans can apply directly through our website by filling out our online application form. We have a thorough vetting process to ensure we create the perfect match between a veteran and a dog.

Where does my donation go?

Your donation directly funds our mission. This includes dog rescue fees, veterinary care, food, training equipment, and professional training sessions for both the dog and the veteran. We are committed to financial transparency, and our detailed financials are available upon request.
